Geocache Description:

This Ranger Rick Trail is located at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park. Trail is the main snowmobile/ ATV trail through the park. There is an incline at the beginning of the trail but it levels out at the top. The trail is hard gravel with a few ruts, but should be suitable for a stroller in the warmer months.

This series consists of 5 caches containing the Ranger Rick stamps to be used on your Ranger Rick Passport which can be downloaded here. This Ranger Rick Cache Trail is being placed for my daughters Daisy Troop located in Turner. We will be having a family get together with the girls in the troop so they can bring their entire family out to enjoy the beautiful trails in the Riverlands park and introduce them to Geocaching and how to navigate using GPS technology. Containers were provided by the Ranger Rick Trail program through MacaroniKid. All the containers are lock n locks with goodies for the kids. All of the caches are no more than 20' feet off of the main snowmobile trail. Depending on snowfall they should be fairly accessible during the winter months. Hunting is allowed in the park so please use caution and wear ORANGE during the week or on Saturday's during hunting seasons. Caches are located on the main snowmobile/ ATV trail so be aware of their presence. Caches were placed with permission and cooperation from the State Bureau of Parks and Land.
