Homunga bay is a quiet little beach with plenty of sand to play or lay on. Also popular with surfers in the right conditions.
Approx 35 minute walk from the end of Ngatitangata road (one way) or go the long way in from Waihi beach for a very scenic walk around the various bays.
Cache is situated on the far north end. Walk over the rocks or if high tide and you don't want to get wet feet, walking up on the grass is also possible.
