Geocache Description:

Inspiration for the character is from the book "Wendal, His Cat, and the Progress of Man" an illustrated novel by V. Campudoni.

Wendal has lost his luggage. Please help him find it. Wendal believes he has narrowed the search to three locations. Sadly Wendal has forgotten exactly where he left it, so the saga continues.

After arriving here in the bustling city Wendal has time to spare. Wendal checks into his hotel. His new home away from home. The hotel is nice, Wendal's boss must really have cared about Wendal.

During his lunch break Wendal went to a restaurant where the worker said "Hi! What can I do for you?" and, "Have a great day!"

After a hearty meal Wendal would go to the park and watch the children play. Wendal was captured by their innocence and charm and believed they were the future of mankind.

Looking for someplace more secluded and where he could be alone to his thoughts, Wendal visited a forest. There he visited a tree. Wendal liked the tree because it made him feel like he was part of a living, breathing planet, vibrating with energy and pulsating with a great life force that surrounded everything, everywhere. Wendal's tree was big and strong and proof that life - in spite of the never-ending march of civilazation and the progress of man - was the most powerful, and most sacred, thing in the universe.

After lunch Wendal would return to work.
