System "Krug" Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

alexthefox777: I checked the cache yesterday. That was real stealth-action shit, like in the movies: me and my friend were crawling silently. Approached the building from another side and jumped to the basement through the hole in the wall. We managed to be completely invisible for the guest-workers all the way! Really, there's light switched on in the basement, and drilling sound can be heard from almost everywhere. We dodged a few workers passing down the corridor by hiding behind the wall, and quickly jumped to the former GZ... the place where I hid the cache a year ago. First of all - there's no floor anymore! It's disappeared! The guest-workers probably disassembled it and carried away. So the hiding place was off-limits. But my friend helped me to reach the location. I checked the hiding place - the cache's gone.

I've seen enough. I guess the "object" will not be available for geocaching purposes anymore. So the listing must be archived. This was my last maintenance for this cache.
After it we covertly left the area without being noticed by anybody.

Geocache Description:

You’ve probably heard something about climate change and how can it be controlled by human?
The governments of USA and former USSR led special experiments during Cold War.
I can’t tell now for sure if such experiments take place nowadays, but I can show you the place left from old times.

Here’s a link to some resource in German, were this is described:

Selbständiges Radiotechnisches Zentrum (System "Krug")

Circularly Disposed Antenna Array (CDAA) sometimes referred to as a Circularly Disposed Dipole Array (CDDA)
It is a large circular antenna array used for radio direction finding.
It was used by the military to triangulate radio signals for radio navigation, intelligence gathering and search and rescue.
That’s what we are supposed to think about this issue. Being a conspiracy theory follower and simply a curious person, I dug up some other info on this object.

You’ve probably heard about scientific experiments led by Americans somewhere in Alaska, concerning changing of climate using high-frequency generators intended for warming up the ionosphere.
These experiments started quite long ago – in theory such thing were described in the works of famous Serbian scientist – Nicola Tesla.
Speaking of today, the side-effects of experiments intended for climate change, are still unclear.
Some people think that this can also be used as a weapon. It can influence people’s health condition and even “suggest the right thoughts”!
More over – it can be called not only an ideological weapon, but the weapon of mass destruction.
Who knows? Maybe all this recent fuss about unstoppable fires in Russia, floods in Japan and too much heat in NY in summer 2011 are the result of these experiments with climate weapon?
I’m talking about High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP).
Just try to google the term “HAARP” – and among others, the machine gives you a definition like “Armageddon weapon”.

I don’t know, maybe this are quite radical notions, but who knows for sure?

There’s a book written by concerned researchers about it: “Angels don't play this HAARP. Advances in Tesla technology” by Nick Begich and Jeane Manning.

Some shaking facts are described there.
They speak not only about Americans program.
During a Cold War Russians led similar experiments too, and this is why I’ve put this geocache.
As I was trying to collect some information about the building you’re invited to go to, I was experiencing difficulties – there isn’t much in the internet.
But still, I’ve found out that this particular building may had been somehow connected with “Russian woodpecker” or something like this.
In its better days, the building was surrounded by many antennas. They were allegedly intended for intercepting ciphered messages from enemy’s aircrafts. But some people tend think that that was not the only option of this object.

IMHO:
I’m not quite sure actually if things are really that bad.
Maybe there in no anything like I described above and maybe this building has nothing to do with such a notorious description.
But still, while I was trying to find any kind of description for this deserted building I was carried up to some strange definition concerning intelligence, surveillance and even this unconfirmed info about climatic weapon.

Right now the place is deserted. There are no antennas left. But places where they used to be can be seen from satellite.

BTW:
There are many other objects like this.
And some of them are still seem to be operational!
But this one is completely disabled.

FYI: If you google the abbreviation “HAARP” you’ll find, that it looks different on the pictures.

That’s correct.
Pictures were taken recently and they refer to HAARP.
And in Russia it looked differently.
But still, there is a similarity if you look at the satellite image of the place you're invited to visit:

TO FIND A CACHE

The coordinates in the header will bring you right to the entrance of the building, which stands in the center of the “Circle”.

It used to be surrounded by antennas (see waypoints to get coordinates of places where there are still some remains of those antennas (unavailable in winter due to high level of snow)
In summer or in the late spring or in the beginning of autumn (except winter) the Circle around the building can be visible!

Once you got there – enter the building and go downstairs – to the basement.
Then turn right to a "dark room".
That’s where you’ll need your UV-lamp.
You'll have to find out where the cache is actually hidden.
Your next step is described somewhere in that dark room.
Not much space to search with UV-lamp at all!

That’s it!

And one more thing.
Since the place is deserted, or may look like it is – please be careful and hide the cache back on its original place the same way as it was hidden!
Keep original disguise.
I’ve been to the place a few times, and was lucky not to stumble upon anybody else.
But, “you never know”, right? :)
So please pay attention to the “Stealth Required” attribute, just in case…

Even if it’s all fake – you can still enjoy exploring this abandoned building and afterwards try to ask google some questions about the matter we discussed here. free counters

The caching area is accessible by bus #303 or #15 bound to village called "Veshki" from Altuf'evo metro-staion.
