Geocache Description:

The cache is located along a portion of the well maintained Ontario Pathways. Please replace cache exactly where you found it. The container is a cammoed childproof pill container about 5 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. Please bring your own pencil or pen. Obey the trail rules and they are open from dawn to dusk.

Ontario Pathways purchased the abandoned railroad property from the Penn Central Corp. in 1994. It had been abandoned and neglected for over 20 years. The Ontario Pathways trail is built on these abandoned railroad beds and is well maintained.
Although the rails are no longer there you can still see remnants of what was once there. The trails are about 12 feet wide and various scenery can be seen along the way. Enjoy the walk and have a relaxing day just looking around at things where the trains once took people.
