this year's Caching Christmas Cracker event
which will be held on
Sunday 11 December 2011
at The George Hotel, The Square,
Pangbourne, RG8 7AJ
from 12 noon to 4pm
Hard to believe that this
is the 7th Christmas Cracker event! The years just go whizzing
by!
We have chosen The George
Hotel as the venue for this year's event. We have a function room
and bar for our exclusive use, plus if the number of people
attending reaches similar levels to previous years, we will also
have sole use of the restaurant area. Pangbourne already has a few
caches, but we are hoping to set a few more in time for the event,
which will hopefully create a circular walk of existing and new
caches.

here . We need to take pre-orders (without deposits) for
the majority of attendees, but people who sign up at the last
minute will still be able to order food.

We hope to have a festive quiz for you to take part in if you wish
and there will of course be a receptacle for you to drop in any
geocoins or travel bugs which need moving
along.
We hope you can along and
join in the fun, the caching banter, and meet other local cachers.
If you are fairly new to geocaching, please come along and grab an
opportunity to meet others who share your interest, and pick up a
few hints and tips. Please come along dressed in your
Christmas finery ... Santa hats, flashing earrings and badges,
etc.
Please
note: dogs are welcome at The George Hotel but in the bar
only - they are not permitted inside the restaurant or function
room.
Parking: there is a car park to the rear of The
George Hotel. Also parking available in three public car parks -
please see additional waypoints for their
locations.
