Geocache Description:


The Annaloughan Loop, as the name would suggest is a circular walk in the hills. It is marked out the whole way round, One divide is not marked and you keep left here (waypoint added) It is a part of the mountains which is sometimes overlooked in favour of trails closer to Carlingford. The views over the full expanse of Dundalk Bay are spectacular. Over half is hardpack track, the rest is mountain trail, very soft and wet in places. This is one of a series of 5 caches in the general vicinity of the trail. This cache was a late addition to the series so it can be picked up between numbers 3 and 4.
Since GPS reception can be patchy in the forest I will say that the cache is hidden about 1.5meters to the right of the stile (assuming you're approaching from Annaloughan Loop #3) This point marks the end of the hardpack track and from this point on you will be following a mountain trail so please make sure to prepare accordingly.

The cache is a small tablock box containing log only so please byop
