Botanisk hage ligger på Gimle gård som en del av Agder naturmuseum. Hagen er gratis med unntak av kaktussamlingen. Hovedbygningen et eget museum drevet av Vest-Agder museet. Hagen er liten, men innholdsrik. Her er samlinger (kaktus, rose, geranium, staude, og urter mm.) og Tusenårshagen som viser gamle hageplanter på Agder gjennom historien. It is a nice place for kids with a playground. See if they can find the living fossil the Monkey-puzzle Tree in the Evergreen Arboretum, the monsterlike Giant Rhubarb among the Perennials, or the musical instruments at the cottage.
The Botanical Garden is located at Gimle as a part of Agder nature museum. The garden is free of charge except the cactus collection. The old main building is a museum run by the Western Agder Museum. The garden is small, but rich. There are collections of cactus, roses, geranium, perennials, herbs and the Thousand Year Garden showing old garden plants in Agder throughout history.
