Do The Commuter Wave Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Moun10Bike: Hi JesseYoung,

I am one of the volunteer admins for Geocaching.com. I was just reviewing your "Do The Commuter Wave" cache (GC36DB).

It looks as if this cache has been under the weather for some time - the last find is dated July 5. As stated in the cache listing guidelines available at this link:

You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to hunt for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable time - normally a few weeks - in which to arrange a visit to your cache. In the event that a cache is not being properly maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time, we may archive or transfer the listing.

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thank you for your understanding,

Jon (Moun10Bike)
Geocaching.com admin.

Geocache Description:

You may be sitting right next to this one on some of those bad days. Easy to walk to, on a trail that many people may not know exists. This area could be a fun surprise for some people.

The cache is a small, white Rubbermaid-like container, very well marked on the top. It's kind of hiding in plain site.

Initial contents are: 2 small rubber duckys, Listerine pocket pack, a CAD Creation software disc, 5 dice, 1/3 cup measure, Microsoft paper holder, a small block of Legos (oh, boy!), plastic eyeball (taken from the Forbes Creek cache), small tape measure, plastic butterfly, plastic Easter egg with candle inside.

There is a also a log book with two pens. Please sign!
