L’alzaia, o restera, è uno degli elementi maggiormente caratteristici del Sile, un fiume non costretto tra potenti argini, come altri fiumi del territorio dalla portata d’acqua più irregolare (Piave, Livenza e Tagliamento).
L’alzaia è la fune che serviva a tirare dalla riva di fiumi e canali chiatte e battelli controcorrente ed erano impiegati cavalli e buoi. Sicuramente questo meccanismo è in disuso da decenni, infatti ora sono numerosi gli alberi tra il vecchio e ampio sentiero e lo specchio d’acqua.
Questi alberi sono particolarmente utili per l’ombra e la frescura che hanno garantito anche nelle prime ore di un assolato pomeriggio di luglio.
Il cache è di dimensioni MICRO e contiene un logbook.

The towpath, or "restera", is one of the most characteristic of Sile, a river is forced between powerful banks, like other rivers of the area by the water flow more erratic (Piave, Tagliamento and Livenza).
