This is a pretty easy find along a very nice drive going to or returning from the beach, on one side you have the Julia Butler Hansen national wildlife refuge & on the other the Columbia river, the drive makes for a nice slower detour to the highway.
This is along a county road with just enough room for one vehicle to pull safely off the road, we found this tree very interesting, the hint is in the name and Please stay on the river side of the road the cache is not on the refuge but was placed here with their permission.what do you suppose this tree was used for many years ago?
