Geocache Description:

Come see what South Marston has to offer in the way of alternative technology!

Installed Summer 2011 these Solar Panels awe an awesome sight.

Highly recommend welly boots from September onwards.

If coming from recommended parking coordinates then the public footpath starts at the metal gate with the "Security Guards in operation" sign on it.
02/Nov/11 No one has spotted any dogs patrolling.

***Warning there is currently a security guard on site who has a portacabin just in front of this cache.***
The guards that cachers have met so far have all been very friendly and one even helped Newmanmadhouseteam to find the cache even though he had never even heard of geocaching! We believe the guards are to stop people stealing the panels/building materials and are only too happy to chat to cachers using this 'very underused' public footpath.

Installing this cache and the two sister caches "Only Boys Allowed" and "Only Girls Allowed" enabled us to discover a footpath we didn't know existed and see the solar panels being built.

This cache was beautifully hand crafted by our Unc-ee.
