Chaplin Court is a fairly straight forward cache placed at these Hansel and Gretel-style residential cottages built in 1923. Private residence. Do not disturb tenants. Beware of Muggles. Be stealthy. BYOP and holds small items.
These storybook style courtyard cottages were built in 1923, commissioned by Charlie Chaplin, and designed by Arthur and Nina Zwebell, famed Hollywood courtyard apartment architects. Legend has it that these were the 'male residence' for the Chaplin Studios, and had housed Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, John Barrymore, and others, during the peak of the silent film era.
Tenants are aware of cache and do not mind as long as it does not cause a nuisance.
