Another cemetery in our tour of rural Black Hills cemeteries. This cemetery is located about a mile west of Fairburn SD. Situated up on a hill overlooking the surrounding country side, it features a small white chapel in the middle of the well-kempt grounds. There are approximately 370 grave sites here, dating back to 1887.
You do not have to enter the cemetery grounds to find the cache. If a service is in progress, or if there is someone here maintaining a grave site, please come back at a later time. If you do chose to visit the cemetery, please pay due respect and do not disturb any of the markers or headstones. Follow any and all posted cemetery regulations. Most importantly, do NOT look for this cache after dark.
You are looking for a small tube, hidden well. You will need your own writing stick as there is no way one will fit in this little container. Please carefully return the cache to the proper spot, making sure you don't make it any harder for the next person.
As with all of our caches, good luck, enjoy the area, and have fun!
