Geocache Description:

You will have to enter the grounds of Thwaite for access to this cache. Feel free to wander around or bring your dog! Please make sure you hide the container properly again!! Also, if possible please log during daylight, as hall staff might get suspicious if someone is strolling through the woods in the night.

Thwaite Hall is one of the traditional halls of residence that are part of the University of Hull. The Hall was built in the 18th century and offers room for around 180 students.
It is certainly the nicest place to live in when a first year. Most enjoyable are the 24 acres of grounds consisting of a lake - which is the home of many ducks and a goose, which are highly admired and regularly fed by the students -, parkland, woods and a tennis court. The Hall also offers TV and games rooms and has got a library and a big dining hall. Thrice a year residents are invited to a formal dinner with the warden which are the highlights of an academic year. When you have found and logged the cache feel free to have a walk across the lovely grounds of Thwaite!
