A series of caches, originally placed by The Briar Rose on one of their dog walking routes,, taking a circular route to the west of Honley, with some panoramic views along the way. *****NO CACHES HAVE BEEN PLACED IN DRY STONE WALLS*****
The route is ideal for dogs, being mainly on tracks and footpaths, although there are a number of roads to cross and some road walking. The stiles are all dog friendly (one is a bit narrow). Please be aware there may be livestock in some of the fields. From No #14 ,it may be easier to spot if you walk through the gap in the wall off the main bridleway and go round the back of the holly.Co-ordinates may be affected by tree cover here. The cache isn't difficulty 3 anymore but I have kept the rating so that it does not affect previous finders' stats. The fairy garden has appeared since I last did a maintenance run.It is lovely but don't be fooled. It has nothing to do with the cache placement.
