Geocache Description:

This cache is placed just off the back entrance road to Eagle Point Park, please replace cache as found so others may enjoy the find. Don't share your hard work.

Legend has it Deadwood Pete is laid to rest here with his trusty Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a gps in the stock, and this thing which tells time. I have since heard, Pete was under extreme duress hunting for this cache and speaking in strange tongues. People say, Pete was shouting a steady torrent of obscenities and swearing of all kinds was pouring out of Pete. When Pete heard a roar like the sound of a lion...and then he knew that the chipmunk herd him and was coming for him! Pete had just enough time to wheel around, raise his Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a gps in the stock, and this thing which tells time...and he gasp in awe and fear...as the chipmunk leaped into the air...eyes red with blood lust...with a gaping maw and jaws filled with razor sharp teeth...as it hurled itself at Pete to devour him...praying silently to God, Pete aimed and pulled the trigger!!!! and missed!!!!
