Welcome to The Barrachois ! Located at the end of Beach St. in New Waterford. The word is taken from "barachois" meaning small port or lagoon. From the vantage point of this cache you can get a true appreciation for what a small port it really is. I was surprised this was here the first time I saw it. Somewhat busy in respective fishing seasons, lobster specifically.

Great place for CITO as trash has always been a problem here !
