Geocache Description:

This is a three stage multi highlighting the highest point of the Town of Clayton.

WP1 is located near the site of the old National Weather Service meteorlogical observatory up on a hill by Clayton School. It began operation in 1971. The tower is now used by Winnebago County for their 911 services.

From the final it is just a short hike to the top of the hill which is the Clayton High Point. From this location you can see long distances in all directions, including High Cliff to the east. Have fun and enjoy the view!

The cache is available in winter but deep snow may make it difficult to find.
