A short walk around the old pit railway
A easy walk around the old bridges along the colliery railway to birch coppice
If you look towards the spoil tips, you will see two trees on the horizon, which have underneath the ice houses for Baxterley hall.
This bridge is also at the end of the road i was born in, and as a child i can still remember the class 37 diesels moving the coal from the pit to Birch coppice loading area.
