This cache has been archived.

drwitty: Cache was not plowed over, cache was still there, but who knows for how long. It's only a matter of time before the rocks will be removed so i'm archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

Easy parking, some bushwhacking required, do not attempt this in business casual cause there's mud almost all year round. A beautiful place to visit in September when the butterflies flutter about.

I've been keeping this place secret for some time. It's a wide open space with lots of tall grasses, especially in the summer months. There's a nice pond further to the north and a path that will take you there if you can find it. The fall is the perfect time to cache this as the grasses are dying and it's much easier to traverse. Still you may find that bushwhacking is required for this cache, so no crybabies, you've been warned. I come here on my lunch breaks and in the mornings to fly R/C planes. I have a few scratch-built aircraft that I like to test fly here, and I find that the tall grasses are ideal for emergency landings. I sometimes find that an all out nosedive of an out of control plane will usually incur minimal damage due to the tall weeds that keep the planes from actually touching the ground. There may be others R/Cer's flying here when you come out, like Phil who lives up the street; He flies an F-16, a super cool jet that looks like the real deal. Just don't sneak up on us, as we've got our hands full. You may find Parkers here as well. They come out here sometimes to, well, park, so pay them no mind and you should be good. Usually when I come out and they see I ain't leaving, they'll just take off.
