I happened across this park last fall while following my only marginally confused GPS from work to a nearby cache at lunch. Okolona Park a 15 acre Metro Park and there was not a cache container to be found. This park has several amenities including basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, small picnic shelter and paved walking path. Parking is available on both the north (off Clay Avenue) and south (Obrecht Way) sides of the park. Posted park hours are dawn to dusk.
Placed a few hides in this park that ran into problems over the last year. At last, they have been reset/refreshed so here is Version 2. For those of you that logged any or all of the original hides, be advised that while the containers have been reused all have been relocated. The coordinates have been averaged 100 times to an accuracy of 8 feet. Of course your results may vary. Fairly generous hints are being provided for your caching pleasure.
You are looking for a small RX bottle with log only. Bring your own pen. Please replace at least as well as you found it to protect from prying eyes. Enjoy.
