Geocache Description:

One of the series set for the Geocaching Olympiad event based in Hallaton on 2/6/12. The loop takes between 2 to 3 hours at sociable pace, includes a couple of steep ascents, one stile and a few gates. Most of the loop is on good grassland or gravelled road. There are a couple of fields which will, of course, get boggy in wet weather.
The caches all represent an event at the Olympic Games, some more obvious than the others.....enjoy

The 1968 Mexico Games were the first to be held by a 'developing' nation. Mexican hurdler Enriqueta Basilio became the first woman to light the Cauldron at the opening ceremony. Dick Fosbury won the men's High Jump with a new jumping system called the Fosbury Flop...
