Geocache Description:

A three stage multi using a homemade theodolite, you are looking for a 4X6 flip-lock box with some unreal camo

The coordinates will take you to stage one

Stage one: N37 41.019 W122 01.422
Behind the large rock under the tree you will find a container. Inside the container is the theodolite a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶m̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶a̶s̶s̶

Stage two: N37 41.007 W122 01.441
The rock. On top of the rock is a small depression. Set the device in the depression and level it as best as possible. Turn the base so 0 degrees is pointing North. Use your GPS compass o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶v̶i̶d̶e̶d̶, if you still are not sure where North is, look toward the power line towers, between the tower and the tree you will see some houses, above the houses there is a peak on the hill, that is pretty much North. Holding the base in place turn the sight tube (the end with the arrow away from you) so the scribe mark on the bracket is pointing at 165 degrees, now angle the sight tube to the 85 degree mark on the yellow scale. Looking through the tube, this should point to a single large object in the distance. At this time you are done with the theodolite, so please return it to where you found it.

Stage three; The cache. About ten feet in front of the object is the cache. The cache is on pretty level ground but watch where you step because there are a lot of bovine droppings in the area.

I know my engineering friends will say it is not really a theodolite, but it sure looks like one. There is a lot of room for error when looking through the tube, but it should be obvious what the object is you are looking for. Have fun with it and feed back is appreciated.
