Red Rocks Cave Cache Traditional Cache
narf007: I have removed this cache by request of the mountain parks. The patrolman who told me that the cache was legal was incorrect. I will contact the Mountian parks in regards to further caches.

Located in the entrance to the Heaven and Hell Tunnels. It requires walking on an exposed ledge.
This cache is located in the Red Rocks Ampheiter Park. A posed sign says no rock climbing but after conferring with a police officer who was patrolling the area going to the cache would not be considered "rock climbing" . The Coodnates are to the parking area due to the fact my GPS does not work in the Tunnels. After you park turn around so you are NOT facing the Amphieter follow the Trail until it splits right next to the rock face. Go left, follow the trail and make your way up so you and make a right and walk on the ledge that is over the trail you just walked on. Follow it until it dead ends climb up the small three foot wall and you will see the entrance to the tunnels. Go through the tunnel and it should open up into a large open area. Keep going straight and into the other Tunnel on the back side of the room. The Cache is in the wall in a Hole in the middle of the tunnel. It is Down and to the left of Reno 00 (Spray Painted on the wall) or some number like that. Please do not leave trash and also do not damage the rock walls in any way. Help pack out trash! I packed out 100 pounds of trash and I did not even come close to picking it all up. Note: There is alot of glass so bring gloves it can be slippery so bring good shoes and a flash light. I looked closely for an area closed sign and did not find one. There is a no rock climbing sign but I have talked to several officers and they have all said that the area is legal togo into. PLEASE HELP BY PACKING OUT TRASH!
