Nice easy walk or bike ride, area is very dog friendly also. This 3 stage Multi will take you on the scenic route of the park. After stage one continue East a bit before turning south. There are benches available. Most people do not know this is back here.
Prairie Park is a 40 acre nature park that is located behind Rotary Park, just off of East Butler. It has about 2.5 miles of walk path (mowed grass) that is also used for cross country skiing in the winter. This area has 3-4' prairie grass and wild flowers with a low area as a pond for geese, ducks, etc. It connects to a 20 acre slew. There are also around 15 different types of trees identified with signs.
Rotary Park
Rotary Park is a 5.5 acre park located at 500 E. Butler Ave. It features a huge playland structure that anyone from age 3 to 15 can enjoy. A beautiful shelter was added in 2005.
