Ashdown Treasure Traditional Cache

This is our first attempt at hiding a cache it is located in the beautiful woods of Ashdown House near Ashbury, off one of the paths. There are many good paths in the woods. It is child & dog friendly, in various places you are able to sit on tree stumps & boulders & have a picnic.
You can walk directly to this cache but I would recommend that you explore the woods whilst you are there, there is a circular walk that you can do around the park. The estate is open all year round and every day of the week dawn until dusk, except for Fridays.
Park at the Ashdown car park and wind your way through the many paths in the woods. The cache is a medium container in a camo bag. It contains a plastic dragon & donkey head from the Shrek films, my sons choose these, so please feel free to swap them. Please leave the pencil sharpener in the cache for future geocachers to use. Please remember that the woods are closed on Friday.
