Geocache Description:

Can be a quick cache or a long walk. The choice is yours.

This cache is hidden to the South West of the village of Marcham. It is on a public right of way, so if conditions suit you could drive most of the way there. The entrance to this right of way is at N 51 39.804 W 001 22.071 You can also get to this cache via the Marcham Jubilee footpaths. A map of these can be found here (visit link)
To the South of the cache you will be able to see the site of the Marcham/Frilford Roman archaeology dig. You are allowed to enter the field to read the display boards. More information can be found here (visit link)
Please be careful when looking for this cache as muggles can appear from any direction. A muggle gamekeeper quite often patrols the dig site. Please hide cache well.
The cache has been preloaded with goodies to get us going.
One final thing, though most of the year the footpaths are suitable for pushchairs the tracks can become wet and rutted during rainy periods. You have been warned
