This is part of a short circular walk (1.4 miles) designed with children in mind – there is mud, ducks to feed, leaves to scramble in, conkers to catch (depending on the season), hills to roll down, a playground and even a shop to buy an ice cream from when you are nearly back at the start point.
This cache lies near to some horses which are usually very happy to be fed and pettted. On your way to this cache, wander over the meadow to see Paper Mill Pond (this fed the mills that made the acid-free paper for the needles made at Forge Mill) and also the River Arrow - great for paddling in in the summer.
