The Case of the Sleeping Trailside Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cissy PSP: Came by here today and wanted to check on this cache. Instead of finding my preform, someone had put a small lock n lock. Mine was gone. However, this lock n lock was not a replacement for mine. It belongs to someone else. It's sort of a letterbox with some stamped entries from ball in 2015. It's as if someone put this here just to....I don't know what lol

I would suggest whoever took this spot, redo it properly. Archiving as I won't likely be back here. I am including a photo of this little lock n lock container.

Geocache Description:

I am another one of those preformed baby soda bottles my CO obtained from another cacher....as if she needed another one!

My CO was out caching today on the Deep Gulch Trail in Almaden Quicksilver Park. After reaching the top of that trail, she decided to walk the English Camp Trail in order to find a place for me to rest. Not that I need to rest or sleep, but I like both! She nestled me right next to this big old log right along side the trail and put a cover on me to keep me warm. See if you can find me. Recover so muggles and mugglelets can't see me. I hate when that happens. If you approach me quietly, you may hear soft snoring - zzzzz. Like I said, I love to rest/sleep :-)

Please respect park hours. I can be reached a few ways, but here are two. If you park at the Hacienda entrance, you can take the Deep Gulch Trail uphill all the way, then right onto English Camp Trail......or to Mine Hill Trail and turn left onto the steep uphill English Camp Trail. I think the Deep Gulch trail is the better idea, but that's just me. It's less steep and much more interesting.

Terrain rating of 3 because of the uphill hiking portions.
