Geocache Description:

James McGannon

A victim of the 1862 - 64 Indian uprising in Minnesota James McGannon was killed by HI-UKA (the son in law of Chief Little Crow). This sign commerates that event. Mr. McGannon was only 23 years old. He was buried in the Fairhaven Cemetary. If you would like to see his grave stone with the infamous inscription "Killed by the Indians" go to the following coordinants N 45 19.362 W 94 12.417
