Geocache Description:

As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful of the area. The cache is not near any grave sites, and, please, no night caching.

This cache is dedicated to my friend and caching cohort ooGROOSYoo. It is a micro hidden in his favorite Cemetery

Last year sometime I replied to a thread on chums about the new statistics feature on GC.com. I mentioned in my reply that I found 30 caches within a mile from my house including BOTH of Grossy's caches. This was followed by a call from him saying he was gonna find all of mine.

Recently he informed me that all he needed was my furthest cache from home Stairway to Akron. Upon hearing this I devised a plan to hide a cache a little farther than usual from my home coords, like say Mansfield some 70+ miles so it would be out of Grossy's notification range. I went to the NCOG Ides of March event and placed a cache while there and got a local cacher to agree to maintain it for me and called it GROSSY'S ROADTRIP.

April 1st just before lunch I got a text from Grossy with a pic of my Stairway to Akron cache and a message saying he found them all. I quickly replied saying R U Sure? He replied yes. I told him to look again.

Less that 1 min later my phone rang and Grossy was laughing so hard he could hardly get any words out. I did decipher a few words that I can't put on this family friendly forum, but we both had a good laugh about it!

This was all done in good clean fun and I hope he knows it. I want to thank him for being a good sport about it and I can't wait to see what he does to get me back!

Grossy got his 1000th cache this year which was Grossy's Roadtrip which was hidden in this cemetery. At his 1K celebration he received a sudoku puzzle to solve to reveal the coords to his 1K tribute cache which much to his suprise is also hidden in this cemetery.

The Ugly Bug and I ended up driving him from Cleveland to here to find it so he could get FTF on it before it was published (as is tradition for all of our 1K honorees) little did he know that this cache was also hidden down here and the plan was to not tell him about it and have it published after he returned home to Cleveland. Realizing that we would have to drive him back down here any way we let him find it while he was here.

This means that he gets FTF on this one too, but ill also allow the first local cacher to find it FTF bragging rights! So have fun and enjoy the last of my caches to be hidden so far away from home.
