Geocache Description:

This is another in my Movie Trivia series. The coordinates listed will not take you to the cache. You will most likely have to watch the movie to get the actual coordinates. The caches will vary in difficulty from a 2.5 all the way to a 5.

I have always been a huge movie fan so I decided to combine 2 things that I enjoy. It is my hope that this will either give you an excuse to watch a movie you haven't seen in a while or watch it for the first time. I understand that not everyone likes the sames types of movies so I will try to cover every genre over time. If I pick a movie, or type of movie, that you don't like please be patient and either wait for the next movie trivia or email me and make a movie request. I also understand that not every movie is suitable for children so below you find the movie rating as well as the story line. I will be doing some kids movies too :)

Each cache will have the same basic instructions but may vary slightly. The trivia I use may require some digging into the "behind the scenes" info, picking out specific details from the movie, actor/director info etc. I want this to be interesting so any relative trivia may be used.

For each movie you will see a set of coordinates with the usual numbers accompanied by circled numbers. You will see numbered trivia questions as well. Answer the question for #1 and put that answer in the spot where the circled 1 is and so on. Answer all the questions correctly, and put the answers into the proper spots, and you will have the final coordinates.

#2 in the series is The Green Mile. The Green Mile is an exceptional movie with an amazing cast. I have seen this movie several times and thought it was a good addition to this series. Some of the subject matter is not suitable for kids. Below is the movie rating as well as a pic and the storyline.

The cache is listed as a micro but its more in between a micro and a small. This one shouldn't be too difficult to find but BYOP. Have fun!

Rated R 189 minutes

Director Frank Darabont's powerful adaptation of Stephen King's supernatural tale is set on death row in a Southern prison, where gentle giant John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan) possesses the mysterious power to heal people's ailments. When the cellblock's head guard, Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks), recognizes Coffey's miraculous gift, he tries desperately to help stave off the condemned man's execution. The able supporting cast includes Bonnie Hunt.

Now for the questions.

#1 - The Green Mile was originally set in 1932 but the timeframe was bumped to the year 19?5.

#2 – Wild Bill bought a moon pie. How much did he pay?

#3 - The thread spool Mr. Jingles pushes for the 1st time has numbers on it. What’s the 2nd number?

#4 - What cell # was Arlen Bitterbuck in?

#5 – How much did it cost for the kids to get into mouseville?

#6 – What is the 3rd # on Pauls license plate?

#7 - Dale and Mr. Jingles do a performance. As they enter the room what is the number on the door? Add the digits together.

#8 – This is a 2 part question. First: What letter block is the green mile? Second: Take the number that this represents in the alphabet and then subtract the number of coat hooks on the inside of Pauls front door.

#9 - The Green Mile was nominated for 4 Oscars. How many did it win?

As always PLEASE respect the area and the cache. Show some respect to this great hobby as well as the next cacher by taking the time to rehide the cache as good or better than you found it!
