Geocache Description:

Ontario Beach Park is home to a wonderful pier (which I walk at least once a week, even in winter), nicely renovated boardwalk, the historic Dentzel carousel, Concerts by the Shore, and the Roger Robach Community Center. The cache is high enough to be accessible in the winter. BYOP and BYO tweezers.

For my first hides I decided to stick close to home and do an "I Love Charlotte" series.

Charlotte (pronounced shar-LOT) is a neighborhood in Rochester, New York located at the mouth of the Genesee River along Lake Ontario. Founded in 1788, and originally called Charlottesburgh, Charlotte might have been a major city, but the arrival of the Erie Canal in 1823 resulted in the dominance of the settlements at the City of Rochester. Charlotte was annexed by the City of Rochester in 1916.

Congrats to Hale-Storm on FTF!
