Geocache Description:

This particular cache is in a place where I, several adult scout leaders and many scouts have spent many Saturdays parking cars for the University of Alabama home football games. The scouts in Tuscaloosa are very fortunate to have car parking as a fundraiser to support the scouting program and their camping activities. The guys usually work here seven Saturdays a year, greeting the fans, directing them into their parking space, collecting the money and thanking them for parking with the scouts. For the guys they enjoy a day with their friends, eating some pizza and drinking a few soft drinks while raising funds to pay for their scouting adventures. What they may not realize is that this also helps teach responsibility, self discipline, communication skills and financial management; these behind the scene lessons are taught and learned while having fun.

The cache was place at the end of the 2011 home season; the adults are glad to have their weekends back but realize that it is just months until the University of Alabama kicks off again next year.
