Fine new trail head for the Lake Sawyer wilderness park.
Almost a park and grab but I highly recommend you take the time and use this trail to enter the Lake Sawyer wilderness area where there are many caches, trails and even some historical markers from the long ago train that ran through here. You may see deer, herons and maybe a bear. Lots of people walk back here and it is a great spot for dogs and kids. 160 acres of 2nd growth forest, a lake and streams to explore.
