Geocache Description:

This series of geocaches pays tribute to some of the artists who were pioneers in the music video industry.

The Cars - You Might Think  The Cars - You Might Think


Music Video Pioneer Song: "You Might Think" by The Cars
Year: 1984
Unique Technique: one of the first videos to use computer graphics.
Concept: The video features band leader Ric Ocasek and model Susan Gallagher in a series of encounters. Ocasek appears in her bathroom mirror, in her mouth, as a fly, and as the Robot Monster, among other incarnations.
Interesting Fact: The video cost $80,000 to make which was almost triple the average music video budget of the time.
Awards: "Video of the Year" (among many other nominations) at the first annual MTV Video Music Awards in 1984.
