As this cache disappears regularly photo logs with nice pictures of Favara taken from the cache coordinates are accepted as well.

Da der Cache regelmässig verschwindet, werden auch Logs mit schönen Fotos von Favara akzeptiert, die an den Cache-Koordinaten aufgenommen wurden.

Favara è un comune italiano di 33.831 abitanti della provincia di Agrigento in Sicilia.
Il comune è in relazione di intensa interazione socio-economico-culturale con il capoluogo Agrigento, con cui forma una conurbazione.
Anticamente conosciuta col nome di Fabaria. È sita su un declivio ai piedi di una collina di 533 metri d'altezza (Monte Caltafaraci, detto Muntagnedda) che domina l'abitato.
È conosciuta anche come la "Città dell'Agnello Pasquale", dolce tipico a base di mandorle e pistacchi.

The town has a considerable agricultural trade, and there are sulfur and other mines in the neighborhood.

Favara ist eine Stadt der Provinz Agrigent in der Region Sizilien.
Favara liegt 11 km östlich von Agrigent. Hier wohnen 33.857 Einwohner (Stand 31. Dezember 2010), die hauptsächlich in der Landwirtschaft arbeiten. Es wird neben Getreide, Mandeln, Pistazien auch Wein angebaut und verarbeitet.
Der Name Favara stammt aus arabischer Zeit. Der Name stammt von Fawwara ab, welches arabisch ist und Wasserquelle bedeutet. Der heutige Ort entstand im 13. Jahrhundert um das in diesem Jahrhundert erbaute Kastell.
