iowaPete: Mrs. iowaPete and I had a long talk about this cache. It's had a great run and has received so many wonderful log entries. SuperGoober even chose this cache as his 5000th find. But, we've run into multiple maintenance issues with this cache, and the current incarnation wasn't actually the original intent to the cache. So, with a heavy heart, I came out to The Brookfield Trail this morning and picked up the container and holders. I should be able to re-purpose this container for another cache and hope to do so in the future.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to find this cache and all your positive log entries. It's wonderful to read, and makes hiding caches so much more worthwhile...

Geocache Description:

Non-standard container hidden in the Brookfield Wildlife Refuge.

Mrs. iowaPete had an inspiration for the development of this cache, and I let her run with it. While the approach to this cache will be straightforward, the actual retrieval of the container will be a bit more "interesting." Log sheet only, so bring along your writing implement. Please replace the container exactly as found so that the next cacher can enjoy, and promptly report any problems. We'll get out there and fix them quickly. Practice CITO where needed. Good luck!
