THIS CACHE MEETS THE URBAN PLACEMENT GUIDELINES.
THE RACE IS ON!
A city centre cache that isn’t a magnetic nano! St. Georges Cross. Postcode G4 9.
I’m not a fan of magnetic nanos. And Glasgow city centre is completely oversaturated with them. So I decided to place a cache literally outside my back door, that is just big enough for TBs, GCs and small swaps. In fact, I can see the cache from my flat. Which should make owner maintenance pretty easy! However, it does mean that stealth is of the essence.
Just to the east, there is a statue of St. George & The Dragon, sculpted by J &G Mossman. The statue was rescued from the St George’s Co-Operative Society tenement in Gladstone Road, off St George’s Road, in 1985, when it was about to be demolished, and was re-erected by the Co-Op at St George's Cross as a public monument in 1988.
Container WAS a 0.2 litre plastic clip-lock box, inside a larger cammoed box, until it got muggled this summer. Now it's just the un-cammoed outer container. Please make sure that the cache is adequately hidden by the hint item when replacing.

N.B: the cache is not within private property and there is no need to enter any gardens or closes to retrieve the cache. Be aware that the ground near the cache can get very soggy in poor weather.
