Geocache Description:

Grab a quick cache along the White Horse Canyon trail, and remember to bring your own pen/pencil

I just realized that Dec 2 is my first anniversary of caching - my first cache was a virtual at the Library of Congress in front of the main building, using a Garmin nuvi in the automobile mode

This hide is to commemorate that auspicious start - this cache is a camo'd tea tin, larger than a micro, but not a small, and capable of holding small swag and micro trackables. It is along the White Horse Canyon trail, less than a mile from the Potrero Road trailhead. Please re-hide as well or better as found

First to Find (FTF) gets a Sacajawea dollar and a trackable to move along. Remember, Big Eagle, to bring your own pen/pencil to this cache (BYOP)

If you're new to caching, there are a number of other caches out on this trail as well that are fun to find

There are a number of trailheads that can be used to get here, but the closest is the one at Potrero Road. There is no parking at the trailhead on Potrero Road, but there is convenient parking on Margate Place, about 0.2 mile from the trailhead, just a little north of Potrero Road. You can find a map of the trail system here Los Robles Trail East and the COSCA area

*****Congratulations to Big Eagle for FTF *****

Happy Caching - A cache a day keeps the doctor away
