We see that much clean up and improvements have been made, since first placing our cache there, and the improvements have caused the elimination of the cache's hiding place.

Geocache Description:


This is Snider Cemetery, just outside of Kickapoo State Park, and is a very old cemetery. Many of the tombstones are unreadable and fallen over. On the website 'Find a Grave' it indicates that the first person to be buried there was back in 1830 and the last was in 1917.

Because of past vandalism being done inside this cemetery, you should only go in and enjoy reading the tombstones during the day time .... absolutely no entering before daylight or after dusk, as you will be taking the chance of being arrested. Be respectful when in the cemetery.

The cache holds a log, a couple of small pencils and can hold small trinkets.
