Geocache Description:

Christmas Break Hike - CBH

I placed this cache after having a nice hike in the cool weather. When you go for this one I suggest wearing long pants and boots. At times the area may have a lot of water and you may have to wade in the gully. You are looking for a plastic peanut butter jar, 4" in diameter, 6" high, and tied to a tree with fishing line. This land is a Kirkwood park. They have recently added new benches, and it is NOT OPEN 24/7.

I have marked where I parked and where I crossed the gully. See the coordinates lower down on this page.

Enjoy a nice hike going for this cache. Crossing the gully might be a problem some times of the year, and there are thorns to watch out for. My path was not to most direct, but if you come with a carry along bridge you won't have to figure out where to cross the water.

Saint Nicholas

You are looking for a plastic container about 4" in diameter and 6" high. There are probably many routes to the cache. I will mark where I parked. To cross the gully I used a log bridge and nearby wood for a staff. (Perhaps sgt wouldn't here?)

In the past I have had caching placement help from Art The Crow and Rocky the Flying Squirrel. Today as I was hiking I met Hedwig the Owl. Perhaps you will see one of my flying friends on your hike? Good luck searching for this cache and happy caching.

Congratulations and FTF honors to koolaid109
