Yo, Prancer here. So you’re looking for me! I know what you’re thinking… you think with a name like this you’ll find me prancing around, flouncing and frolicking…. Maybe when I was a young buck, but not now. Oh I may strut, cavort, even swagger, but Prance? No way. It’s just a name. But these prancing feet have gotten us through some of the worst storms we’ve seen.

And for the record, I think the song should have been all about me. I’m the nimble one, I’m the one that Santa really relies on. I bet you never heard the real story… it goes like this:

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Prancer with your Feet so light
Get us through this avalanche… uh… tonight

…… see, that’s why I didn’t get top billing in the song,
couldn’t get “Avalanche” to rhyme with anything!
