Geocache Description:

The young man that completed his Eagle Scout project with the agency that once was located here actually did the work in another part of Tuscaloosa. Both locations, here where the Salvation Army once stood and the location of the home he worked at were destroyed in the April 27 tornado. The future plans for the home are uncertain; it is more likely that the Salvation Army will be rebuilt.
The project this young man worked on was to provide help with landscaping at a home for veterans which was sponsored in part by the Salvation Army.
