If you get a chance, sit or lie down and gaze up at the vast sky visible from this field. Breathtaking! Other than a bit of freeway noise, you mostly hear birds and other critters, and the breeze through the grasses and trees. Or, snowflakes falling!
This is a 4-stage multi-cache. Some stages are trickier than others. The first 3 stages are micros, sometimes hidden in a small container. Please replace as found or better.
This could be a challenging hike for small children. A lot of the grasses were up over my head. There are some animal trails out here, but mostly you'll have to forge your own way.
Dog and people access is limited here from April 15 to July 31 to allow the pheasants and other wildlife to raise their families. This cache will be temporarily archived during that time period to comply.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the land manager at the Baldwin DNR office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
