Geocache Description:

A beautiful avenue dedicated to the fallen soldiers of World War 1. Being our third hide, we thought it was time for a Multi, so hear it is! We hope you like it. This will take you on a relaxing walk in a lovely location as well as recognising some important history.

You will need to answer the following 14 questions to obtain the co-ordinates of the cache. On your mobile device, use 'Text View' to see the questions clearly. Note, you don't need to find the small plaques under each individual tree (unless you want a REAL challenge!) Refer to the main large plaques in the middle of the median strip to work out the answers to the questions. Once you don't find the clue, move on to the next plaque. The final co-ordinates are: S: AB CD.EFG E: HJK LM.NPQ 1. Subtract Pte V. H. Pike's number from Pte W. E. Sandercock's number = A 2. Which tree number represents Sgt A. J. Lammey? Add the digits together = D 5. Which tree represents Pte A. G. Harvie? Divide the answer by 6 = E 6. Which tree represents L/Cpl B. H. Franklin? Subtract one digit from the other = N 7. Subtract Pte F. R. Lillecrapp's tree from Pte. W. C. Tucker's tree = F 8. Add L. Cpl J. Frerichs's tree to Pte S. J. Sando's tree and subtract Sgt. S. R. Delbridge's tree = P 9. Add the tree numbers of Sgt A. A. Ash, Pte R. W. Mugg and Sgt H. R. Appelbee together and divide by 10 = G 10. Which tree represents Sgt R. A. Latta? Divide the answer by 3 = Q 11. Which tree represents Sgt A. C. Hunter? = H 12. Which tree represents Farrier A. Keely? = J 13. Which tree represents Pte W. G. Robertson? = K 14. How many names in total are listed on the "Burnside District Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Map"? Subtract 71 from the answer = LM Enjoy! LEST WE FORGET
