The whole walk is about 7km long and should take a couple of hours. The walk starts near the old Royal Observer Corp Headquarters which was decommissioned in 1992 and in 1998 was converted for commercial use. I would suggest that you would be better parking in the village and walking up to the first cache. The first part of the walk follows the old perimeter track of Fiskerton Airfield which used to have Lancasters flying from it during WWII. Follow the perimeter track all the way to the Nodding Donkeys and then to the north you will rejoin the public footpath. The middle section is grass footpaths and can get quite muddy especially between caches 5 & 6.
