Geocache Description:

This series has been created as I often take my Geomutt, Guinness, for a walk all around this area.

This cache is part of a series near or around Burbage Common which was ancient grazing common land shared by the manors of Barwell, Burbage and Hinckley at the time of the Domesday Book, 1086. It is made up of a mix of semi-natural woodland and unspoilt grassland is 80 hectares (200 acres) in size. There are picnic areas, horse riding trails and several miles of public footpaths on
this site.


Many thanks to Paul Scragg, Public Space (Community & Development) Team Leader of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council for allowing these caches on Burbage Common.

Note these walks can get very muddy at times.

This will be a bit more difficult than G-Dog Ramble #1 due to the tree cover but should still be relatively easy for experienced Geocachers.


I have taken a lot of averaged readings here but corrected co-ordinates welcomed due to the tree cover.
