The geocache is located in a business parking lot in the west Kelso neighborhood of Catlin. Don't worry, the restaurant has given us permission to place the cache. Geocache should be accessible without having to enter the gate.
To find this geocache you need to find the clue first. It is around here somewhere, both the location of the cache, and the code to open it. Be sure to take note of BOTH.
There is room for small swag and trackables.........BUT the lockbox itself is NOT waterproof, so they would need to be able to withstand water or protected.
At one point Catlin was it's own city. But in the 1920's with the arrival of Longview (Only a few hundred feet to the west) Kelso annexed the small community on the western side of the Cowlitz in an effort to keep their new rival from it. This is why there is a small chunk of Kelso on the "Longview" side of the river.
Do not enter the fenced area please.
